What was it?

mmmmail! was a free disposable Email to RSS service.

People could choose any email address in the mmmmail.com domain and read the mail sent to it as an RSS feed.

All mailboxes were public and old messages were deleted automatically.

mmmmail! helped people avoid spam and protect their online identity, with no signup or registration.

How did it work?

  1. You made up an email address.
    The part before the @ could be anything.
  2. You gave it to someone.
    Such as forums, websites, companies, one-time sign-ups, account activations, less important contacts, etc...
  3. You read your mail as an RSS feed.
    An HTML page was available too.

    Our database crashed thus the site was down for a number of days till I noticed it. Database now recovered. Apologies.

    We experienced some mysterious server 500 errors for about a week, which prevented us from receiving email. The issue has been now solved and we are back to 100% functionality. Sorry for that!!

    You can now check your mail as an HTML page as well. Just replace ".xml" with ".html" in the url of your RSS feed.
